Some people prefer summer over winter and vice versa. I’m quite indecisive. When the sun is scorching here in Sydney, I long for winter – the season where I can snuggle up in knits and coats with a hot drink and a good book. Now that its winter, I miss my summer clothes, relaxing and snorkelling in the beautiful Sydney beaches in Sydney.

For those of you who have been following me, you may remember this dress in a previous post. It is one of my favourite summer items and I feel like I don’t get enough wear out of it. I purchased this dress from The Editors Market when I was a student in Singapore. This store is my favourite Singaporean fashion store because they store awesome pieces at a affordable price for students.

For today’s outfit of the day, I thought I would juxtapose the floral, feminine dress with tough, dark elements. The jumper and boots fight the chills and give the look a more casual, tough-chic vibe. Since the boots have some bad-ass gold plating underneath the lacing, I opted for some chunky gold and black jewellery. If you think this outfit is not so compatible with the cooler months, I suggest wearing some black tights underneath to keep yourself warm. Do you like to mix and match summer clothes into your winter looks? I look forward to reading your comments !

xx Sabina
